One More Day

 

This morning, I was grateful for waking up once more to another day. Usually I am not aware of the absolute gift of being alive, of getting another day. But sometimes, on days like today, the awareness suddenly arises and I am taken over by the preciousness of breathing and having one more chance to experience life—one more morning, afternoon, and evening. An empty day and the possibilities of it.
